An early detection of breast cancer will result in 97 per cent of women surviving for more than five years, according to Dr Sabina Al Aidarous, an expert in cancer therapy.

Her remarks came during a breast cancer awareness session organised by TECOM Investments in Dubai.

Entitled ‘Cancer is a Word, Not a Sentence’, the session saw the participation of more than 90 women and was held at the Dubai Knowledge Village Auditorium.
