Two more dancers got the axe on ‘So You Think You Can Dance,’ narrowly missing a coveted spot in the Top 10.(So you Think you Can Dance Results July 9 2009)

But Caitlin Kinney and Phillip Chbeeb got some good news from head judge Nigel Lythgoe — despite missing the cut, they’ll still go on tour this summer with the Top 10.

Next week, all contestants will get new partners, including Caitlin and Phillip’s, Jason Glover and Jeanine Mason.

The other couple in danger, for the first time, were Melissa Sandvig and Ade Obayomi.

Also on the results show:
• Top 12 group dance: Hip-hop number choreographed by Napoleon and Tabitha to ‘Seven Nation Army’ by the White Stripes
• Musical guest: Kelly Rowland, ‘When Love Takes Over’
