Ancelotti adamant JT will stay a Blue

Carlo Ancelotti has told potential buyers not to bother trying to buy John Terry as the Chelsea skipper is going nowhere.

The talismanic defender has been linked with a megabucks move to big-spending Manchester City, with the west Londoners having already rejected a bid from the Abu Dhabi-owned club.

But new Blues boss Ancelotti is adamant Terry is staying at Stamford Bridge.

When asked about the player’s future on Chelsea’s pre-season tour of the United States, the Italian said: “We have to wait and for some people, it’s a problem to wait. “But for sure, Terry will stay at Chelsea - we never had a problem.”

Manuel Pellegrini has admitted he hasn’t a clue who his Real Madrid starting XI will be for the coming season.

The Bernabeu boss now has an embarrassment of riches available to him after the famous, and clearly very rich, club went on a massive spending spree this summer buying Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and French striker Karim Benzema.

You might think you’d know exactly how your players were going to fit in if you’d shelled out over $280million.

But Pellegrini admits he’s none the wiser.

The Real coach said: “We should make the right decisions, I wish the squad was tighter by now. We have many strikers on the team and they can’t all stay.”

New Inter Milan signing Lucio has set his sights on helping the club win the Champions League. The Nerazzurri may have won three Serie A titles on the bounce but they have failed to get anywhere near the Champions League trophy.

But Brazilian defender Lucio is hoping to change all that.

“The Champions League is one of Inter’s objectives because this is a great European team. But we know we will have to face many teams with our same desire,” he said.
