Senate approved electoral laws amendment bill 2009

Lahore, Pakistan:- Senate approved electoral laws amendment bill 2009, Senate unanimously approved electoral laws amendment bill 2009 on Tuesday. Approval of the amended bill will help speeding up settlement of the petitions with regard to the electoral process. Earlier, on a point of order ANP Senator Ilyas Bilour urged for writing off the debts of Swat people. He said NWFP is a backward region and urged for lowering mark up rates in the province.
