Islamabad, Pakistan: It’s Not Time for Dialogue With Terrorists: PM Gilani, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Monday that the time for dialogue with the terrorists had passed and its time for final results. He vowed to undertake everything possible to secure the country.
Addressing the National Assembly session in Islamabad, PM Gilani said all aspects would be taken into consideration while making the exit policy as the terrorists started targeting the security forces after Swat operation. “The army and police personnel are sacrificing their lives for the security of the country,” he added. Gilani said he himself visited Swat and Malakand after the completion of military operation and analyzed the situation in the area. “We did everything possible for the rehabilitation of the IDPs and provided Rs 25 billion for reconstruction work in Swat.” PM told that the government was giving Rs 5000 each to the IDPs of Waziristan and all amenities were being provided to them. Commenting on Waziristan operation he said the government tried all methods to convince militants for establishment of peace but it had to start military operation as last option. “It’s not the time for dialogue, especially with those who are killing children and women.” He reiterated his government’s commitment to take all measures needed to secure the country.
