RAWALPINDI: A student enrolled at the Barani University Rawalpindi was shot dead amid the incident of robbery here on Friday meanwhile, the students, following the tragic killings, have clogged the Muree Road in protest, Geo news reported.

According to sources, some armed miscreants, in a bid to snatch mobile of a Barani University student, shoot him dead on resistance against them while the students have staged protest, demanding the arrest of the culprits involved in heinous crime and blocking the Muree Road with obstacles.

The students chanted slogans while police have yet to arrive on the spot, sources added.
