An international arbitration tribunal has been formed to settle the dispute over a gas deal between the UAE and Iran, a spokes-man from the UAE-based Crescent Petroleum said.
The National Iranian Oil Company and Crescent signed the contract in 2001, with a price linked to oil.
But as oil rallied, some officials in Iran called for a revision to the price formula, leading to the dispute.
